April 20, 2020: The Seminar on Typology and Semiotics of Folklore was held in Russian State University for the Humanities. Evgeniya Renkovskaya and Anastasia Krylova presented an online talk “Sora tribe: from Animism to religious diversity”.
December 1, 2019: The Moscow International Language Festival was held at the Higher School of Economics. At the Festival, Anastasia Krylova gave a lecture “The writings systems of India”, in which, among other things, she talked about the phenomenon of autochthonous scripts for Munda languages.
May 29, 2019: Anastasia Krylova and Evgeniya Renkovskaya made a report “The sociolinguistic situation of the tribal people living in the Koraput and Malkangiri districts of the Odisha state of India” at a Seminar on the Problems of General and Oriental Linguistics held in the Department of Asian and African languages, Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
May 16, 2019: Anastasia Krylova and Evgeniya Renkovskaya made a report “The poetry of Munda people” at the XL Zograf Readings at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of St. Petersburg State University.
April 28, 2019: The Festival of Indian Languages was held at the Russian State University for the Humanities in Moscow, with the support of the Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Centre (JNCC) of The Embassy of India. Evgeniya Renkovskaya and Anastasia Krylova presented educational lectures on Sora and Gutob languages. Beyond that, Anastasia Krylova gave a lecture “The writing systems of India”, which dealt, in particular, with the autochthonous scripts for Munda languages.
April 6, 2019: Anastasia Krylova and Evgeniya Renkovskaya presented a talk “Five types of Sora script: causes, genesis, formation” at the international conference “Linguistic Forum 2019: Indigenous Languages of Russia and the World” at the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
